Age Concern is a Hamilton project that has made a difference to our community for Elderly citizens that needcheering up. The goal for the project is to improve the way that people are living and to improve their living stateof mind. It enhances their way of life the things that make them depressed.
Age concern was established in 1986 by a group of Hamilton citizens, that were set to improve the Elderly people,their family and close relatives. They help their family to be able to see their Parents or Grandparents and make theirstate of living better and improve the welfare of the citizens.
The project is an ongoing project that has been alive for twenty four years. The project has and always will be a successthat will continue for a while longer. The outcome is happier healthier elderly citizens that are respectful towards the Age Concern project. Everybody that has been touched by Age Concern, have high respects for the organization that also runs under a non-profit scheme.
For people that are under the ageing category or living in rest homes, most in Hamilton are supported by Age Concern that have a higher opportunity to see their loved ones on Holidays or Birthdays or when needed if they are unable to see them physically themselves.
